Bill Stavola Returns to Cup Racing with Terry Labonte and Gander Mountain at Richmond
Harrisburg, N.C. – The last time Bill Stavola entered a car in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series was in 1998 with driver Hut Stricklen. Today, a dozen years later, he is back. This time Stavola is loaded with a two-time Sprint Cup champion in Terry Labonte, who serves as co-owner/driver, and with primary sponsorship support from outdoor specialty retailer giant Gander Mountain and associate support from American Cement. Busch And Ambrose Can Make Three Wins The Charm
Kyle Busch and Marcos Ambrose are both looking for a trifecta of sorts at Watkins Glen International in the Zippo 200 on Saturday, Aug. 7. Busch is on a record setting pace yet again. In 2008 he tied Sam Ard’s NASCAR Nationwide single season wins record of 10 victories. This season, Busch has made 17 starts, posting nine wins, 13 top fives, 14 top 10s and two poles. From a Window World press release Two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Terry Labonte inked a deal that puts him behind the wheel of a Toyota Camry fielded by newly-formed Prism Motorsports for the 2009 “Daytona 500”.
