Matt Kenseth’s wife breaks shoulder blade practicing for charity race
Sporting News NASCAR Wire Service CONCORD, N.C.—Katie Kenseth, wife of Roush Fenway Racing driver Matt Kenseth, suffered a broken shoulder blade in a crash during practice Monday for a charity race next month. Charlotte Motor Speedway spokesman Adrian Parker said Katie Kenseth crashed a Bandolero during the first practice session for the Oct. 15 event on the quarter-mile track, which uses part of pit road and the frontstretch of the 1.5-mile main track. Kyle Busch Motorsports to Pay Remembrance to 10-Year-Old Murder Victim Zahra Baker
MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) in conjunction with Speedway Children’s Charities has announced that they will pay remembrance to Zahra Baker, the 10-year-old from Hickory, N.C. that was tragically murdered last September, during Friday’s N.C. Education Lottery 200. Zahra’s name and picture will adorn the area above the passenger side window of Kyle Busch’s No. 18 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series entry and Charlotte Motor Speedway will observe a moment of silence in her honor before the start of the race.
