Hornaday Gains Ground in the Championship Points Battle After Fourth-Place Finish at Nashville
Nashville, Tenn. – The No. 33 Steak-umm Chevrolet team earned their fourth top 10 finish of the 2011 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season bringing home a fourth-place finish during Friday night’s Bully Hill Vineyards 200 at Nashville Superspeedway. The Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) team had a disappointing ending as four-time champion Ron Hornaday fought to bring home the prestigious Gibson guitar that was on everyone’s mind coming into the 150-lap event. The one-day event included two practice sessions for the series which saw a delayed start due to early morning rain showers. Hornaday finished both morning sessions third fastest on the speed charts. Late Caution Spoils Busch’s Pursuit of First Martinsville Victory
MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Kyle Busch was minutes away from adding the elusive Martinsville Grandfather Clock to his impressive trophy collection when a late caution set up a four-lap shootout. Busch held point for the first two laps, but with two laps remaining Johnny Sauter got around Busch with a bump-and-run maneuver then held off the No. 18 Toyota Tundra to secure the victory. Hornaday looks forward to another solid finish at Darlington
Ron Hornaday may have over 1700 laps around the 1.366-mile egg-shaped oval of Darlington Raceway, but only 147 of those laps completed were in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He made his first Darlington start in the series in the No. 33 Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) Chevrolet last season and brought home a solid third-place finish. Avondale, Ariz. – The No. 33 Sherwin-Williams Chevrolet team was ready for action during Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Phoenix International Raceway. Four-time series champion Ron Hornaday wheeled the Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) Chevrolet Silverado with a solid performance and ended the caution filled night with a third-place finish, shooting up the charts from 28th to 10th in the point standings. The one-day event began with a one hour and fifty-minute practice session, followed by mid-afternoon qualifying at the 1.0-mile tri-oval. Ron Hornaday to Return to Kevin Harvick Inc. in 2011

(KHI) announced today that four-time Truck Series champion Ron Hornaday has signed a multi-year agreement to compete for the team’s Truck Series program in 2011. Busch edges Almirola in Talladega photo finish

The victory was Busch’s sixth in 13 starts in the series this year, his second at Talladega and the 22nd of his career. Johnny Sauter ran third, followed by Matt Crafton and Ricky Carmichael.
