Ambrose leaving JTG, could land at Petty Motorsports
Marcos Ambrose has decided to leave JTG Daugherty Racing at the end of the season, the team announced Tuesday. Ambrose, in his second full year of Sprint Cup racing for the team, is a disappointing 27th in the standings after finishing 18th last year in his first full season. Ambrose has been with the team for five years—one season in trucks, two in Nationwide and then two in Cup. Michael McDowell Announces 2009 Nationwide Series Plans
MOORESVILLE, N.C. – NASCAR driver Michael McDowell announced today that he has signed with JTG Daugherty Racing to race the #47 Toyota Camry entry in the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series.
