Johnny Benson to Race Kansas and Dover for Billy Ballew Motorsports
MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Johnny Benson is returning behind the wheel of the No. 15 Toyota Tundra for two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) events, Billy Ballew Motorsports (BBM) announced today. The Grand Rapids, Wis., native will compete in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 250 at Kansas Speedway on May 2 and the Dover 200 at Dover International Speedway on May 14. Kroger 250 at Martinsville Speedway Race Results
Martinsville – Kevin Harvick started on the pole of Saturday’s Kroger 250 and went on to lead 187 of the 250 laps before taking the checkered flag. Unlike his boss, Ron Hornaday started the date in the 31st spot but managed to work his way through the field to take second behind his truck owner. Following Hornaday to the flag was Brian Ickler, who found out on Friday that he would be driving the Kyle Busch Motorsports truck at Martinsville. Ickler started next to Hornaday in 32nd but made his way through the field to take third. Rounding out the top five were points leader Timothy Peters and Johnny Benson. MOORSEVILLE, N.C. – Johnny Benson is returning to NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) competition following a one-race break. The 2008 NCWTS champ is currently without a full-time ride, but Billy Ballew Motorsports (BBM) has given Benson the opportunity to drive the No. 15 Red Top Auto Auction Toyota in the Kroger 250 at Martinsville Speedway. MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Red Top Auto Auction will continue its sponsorship of the No. 15 Billy Ballew Motorsports Toyota Tundra for the next two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) events.
