Billy Ballew Motorsports Merges With Vision Aviation Racing

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Billy Ballew Motorsports (BBM) announced today that the team has merged with Vision Aviation Racing (VAR) to continue to field the No. 15 and No. 51 entries in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The announcement was made today by Ballew and Vision Aviation Racing General Manager Tom Davis. The team will compete under the Vision Aviation Racing banner and race with the same winning equipment and resources Billy Ballew Motorsports is known for. Ballew will keep an ownership stake in the team. Up-and-coming drivers Justin Johnson and Dusty Davis, who both competed in the Super Late Model and K&N Pro Series West divisions in 2010 for VAR, will make their Truck Series debut in 2011. Billy Ballew Motorsports Has Another Winning Season

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) will conclude its 2010 campaign this Friday night at the 1.5-mile Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway. It’s been a banner season for Aric Almirola and the No. 51 Billy Ballew Motorsports team. Almirola collected two NCWTS wins (Dover and Michigan) and is poised to conclude the year second in the final point standings. Almirola aims to seal his season with another win in this week’s Ford 200. The No. 51 team has competed at Homestead-Miami Speedway three times. With Kyle Busch at the wheel, they have achieved two top-five finishes. Their best showing came in 2007, when Busch crossed the finish line in second-place. Denny Hamlin Looking Forward to Pocono Truck Race

The series will make its inaugural excursion to the 2.5-mile Pocono Speedway for the running of the Pocono Mountains 125. Although no truck team has raced at the “Tricky Triangle,” the No. 15 Billy Ballew Motorsports (BBM) team has track veteran Denny Hamlin behind the wheel of the Digital Qpons Toyota Tundra. Denny Hamlin to Race No. 15 Billy Ballew Motorsports Truck at Pocono

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (July 2, 2010) – Billy Ballew Motorsports (BBM) has announced that Denny Hamlin will drive the No. 15 Toyota Tundra in the Pocono Mountains 125 at Pocono Raceway on July 31. Hamlin has competed in 11 NCWTS races, scoring four top-10s and one top-five finish. Four of the eleven starts were with BBM. His best finish came at Atlanta Motor Speedway in 2008, which he finished in third-place driving the No. 15 truck.
