Lagasse Jr. registered four top-10 finishes in 21 NASCAR Nationwide Series starts during the 2009 season and was a leading candidate for the Raybestos Rookie of the Year Award during the first half of the season. Since 2005 the St. Augustine, Fla.,-native has made 35 career starts in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, and his resume also includes 19 career starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. From 2006 to 2008 he collected and impressive two wins, five top-five finishes and eight top-10 finishes in the ARCA Re/Max Series in just 14 starts.

Jeff White has been named the crew chief on Lagasse Jr’s No. 43 drgmall.com Ford Fusion. White previously served as the chief engineer on Baker Curb’s No. 27 during the 2008 and 2009 seasons. The Nashville, TN native was the chief engineer at Bobby Hamilton Racing when Bobby Hamilton won the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Championship in 2004 and was the crew chief for Ken Schrader in the truck series during the 2007 season.

Parrot brings over twenty years of NASCAR experience to Baker Curb Racing having worked for many of the premiere organizations in the industry including Penske Racing, Robert Yates Racing, Roush Fenway Racing and Chip Ganassi Racing. In addition to his previous experience as Biffle’s Nationwide crew chief, the Charlotte, N.C. native has called the shots for prominent drivers Dale Jarrett, Jeff Burton, Juan Pablo Montoya and Carl Edwards. He has 18 career NNS victories atop the pit box and also recorded one win as a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series crew chief.

In announcing the signing, Matt Crews the President of Baker Curb Racing said, ““Brad is one of the most well respected crew chiefs in the business, brings with him a wealth of knowledge and has had proven success being Greg Biffle’s crew chief. We feel like he gives us a great chance to run competitive right out of the gate and to win a race. His dad was the crew chief in 1984 when Mike Curb was the owner on Richard Petty’s car so the Parrott name already has a history with Baker Curb Racing.”

Biffle was equally happy about being reunited with Parrott. “We worked well together in 2004 and won five races. Since that time he has gained a lot of valuable experience with different drivers and teams so I’m looking forward to working with him again. I think that Brad will be a tremendous asset to Baker Curb in terms of how the team is structured and what it takes to get the cars running faster.”

Over Biffle’s 234 career starts in the NASCAR Nationwide Series the 40-year old driver has collected 20 wins, 14 poles and the 2002 series championship. Of the 234 starts, 43 have been for Baker Curb Racing (formerly Brewco Motorsports) where from 2005-2008 he registered 17 top fives and 29 top 10′s. In 2005 he put together one of his most dominant Nationwide Series seasons recording one win, 15 top fives and 21 top in just 27 races.

Kimberly-Clark, Keller’s primary sponsor, will help retail partner Kroger recognize the achievements of its employees with the return of “Faces on the Car,” an initiative that showcases photos of the employees’ faces on the race car.

The “Faces on the Car” program was established as part of the long-standing partnership between Kimberly-Clark and retail partner Kroger and celebrates employees that have gone to great lengths in providing exceptional service. The hood of the race car also will garner the tag line that embodies the mission of all parties involved in the program “Together, we’re powered to win.”

“There are so many different faces on the race car and I can only imagine what each of them has done to be recognized for their hard work,” Keller said. “I know all of the employees will be cheering us on this weekend and are counting on us to get them into victory lane.”

In addition to the one-of-a-kind paint scheme, the No. 27 team will have a customized pit box, pit wall banner and uniforms with prominent Kroger branding. Kroger stores across the country also will have special packs of Scott 1000 toilet paper with the Kroger Daytona 500 logo available for purchase.

Following the Camping World 300 on Saturday, show cars featuring the paint scheme will make appearances at Kroger stores and Kroger headquarters around the Cincinnati region, allowing the grocer’s employees to see their face on the race car up close and personal.

State Water Heaters, based in nearby Ashland City, Tennessee, has a history of sponsoring NASCAR racing and most recently was the primary sponsor of the Haas CNC Racing Chevrolet driven by Scott Riggs on the Sprint Cup Series in 2008.
