Kevin Harvick Inc Teams Up With Longhorn Moist Snuff
CHARLOTTE, NC – There is a new reason to celebrate the nickname “Tough Trucks, Tough Drivers,” as Swedish Match North America and Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) announce that Longhorn will be the primary sponsor of the No. 33 Chevrolet Silverado driven by three-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) champion Ron Hornaday. The Longhorn colors will be featured on No. 33 for 10 of the 25 race events in 2009.
NASCAR events are some of the highest attended sporting events in the U.S., with a proud, loyal fan base and a die-hard following to show for it. NASCAR fans are also very responsive to NASCAR sponsors, which will offer Longhorn with a wonderful opportunity to acquaint fans with the brand.
Longhorn will not only sponsor KHI’s three-time Truck Series champion, they will also adorn the No. 4 Chevrolet Silverado with KHI co-owner and two-time NASCAR Nationwide Series champion Kevin Harvick behind the wheel. Harvick, who won his first and most recent Truck Series race at Phoenix International Raceway, is looking forward to forging the new partnership with Swedish Match and Longhorn, excited about the possibilities to come in 2009!
The NCWTS season kicks off February 13, 2009 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway.
