Moore’s Marinade Joins NASCAR with Kevin Harvick, Inc. Sponsorship

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. – Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) announced today that Moore’s Marinade will sponsor the No. 2 KHI Truck Series entry for two races in 2010. Moore’s will make its sponsorship debut at Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway on August 7th, followed by the October 30th race at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. Kasey Kahne Puts Undefeated Record on the Line for Pocono Truck Race

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – In a rare appearance in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Kasey Kahne will pilot the No. 18 Toyota of Scranton (Pa.) Toyota Tundra for Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) in Saturday’s inaugural Pocono Mountains 125 at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway. And as owner of KBM, Kyle Busch couldn’t have picked a driver with a better record in the Truck Series as Kahne is undefeated in two series starts, having won races six days apart in November 2004 at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway and Homestead-Miami Speedway. He led an impressive 149 of a possible 284 laps (52 percent) en route to those victories. Ambrose leaving JTG, could land at Petty Motorsports

Marcos Ambrose has decided to leave JTG Daugherty Racing at the end of the season, the team announced Tuesday. Ambrose, in his second full year of Sprint Cup racing for the team, is a disappointing 27th in the standings after finishing 18th last year in his first full season. Ambrose has been with the team for five years—one season in trucks, two in Nationwide and then two in Cup. Ambrose has recorded five top-five and 10 top-10 finishes in his Cup career, which includes 11 races in 2008. “After five years, I personally felt it was time for a change,” Ambrose said. “I have no firm plans of what will come next for me and my career. … Read entire article »

Denny Hamlin Looking Forward to Pocono Truck Race

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) is venturing into uncharted territory this weekend. The series will make its inaugural excursion to the 2.5-mile Pocono Speedway for the running of the Pocono Mountains 125. Although no truck team has raced at the “Tricky Triangle,” the No. 15 Billy Ballew Motorsports (BBM) team has track veteran Denny Hamlin behind the wheel of the Digital Qpons Toyota Tundra. Hamlin’s experience and accomplishments at the speedway have the No. 15 team excited for their debut outing. Hamlin’s record at Pocono Raceway speaks for itself.
