Kyle Busch Returns to Where It All Started

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Everyone has to make his or her first NASCAR start somewhere. And for Kyle Busch, driver of the No. 18 Toyota Tundra for Kyle Busch Motorsports, that “somewhere” was O’Reilly Raceway Park (ORP) in Clermont, Ind. Busch was barely 16 years old on Aug. 3, 2001, when he made his NASCAR debut in the Power Stroke Diesel 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at what was then Indianapolis Raceway Park. Nine years later, the names have changed as the track is now known as O’Reilly Raceway Park and the series is called the Camping World Truck Series. Kyle Busch Keeps Making History

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – Anyone who has watched the racing career of Kyle Busch knows he enjoys putting his name in the record books. Over the course of his relatively short NASCAR career, the driver of the No. 18 M&M’s Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR), who heads to historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway for Sunday’s Sprint Cup Series Brickyard 400, seems to have taken full advantage of his opportunities to make history in each of NASCAR’s top three series. Bobby Labonte to Make 600th Consecutive Start at Indianapolis

Huntersville, N.C. – Once again, 2000 Sprint Cup champion Bobby Labonte will hit another career landmark this weekend. Two weeks ago, Labonte made his 600th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start. This weekend, during the Brickyard 400 at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Labonte will be making his 600th consecutive NASCAR Sprint Cup start. The all-time NASCAR Sprint Cup mark is held by one of the most respected, well-liked drivers to ever walk into the Sprint Cup garage. Ricky Rudd ended his career with an amazing 788 consecutive starts.
