Mooresville, N.C. – Germain Racing’s last three-race winning streak came at the close of the 2005 season. At the time, the team was closing out their first full season of NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition and getting set to enjoy the first of four consecutive top-five points finishes including one Truck Series championship title. The No. 30 Tundra of Germain Racing holds more wins than any other Tundra in the Toyota ranks, and Todd Bodine thinks California is a great place to add another tally mark to the win column and a sponsor to the hood and quarter panels.
After beginning the 2009 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series campaign with a tough 19th place finish at the season opener at Daytona Chad McCumbee is looking forward to the trip west to Auto Club Speedway, a fast two-mile D-shaped oval located just east of Los Angeles. Most importantly, Chad is just happy to be heading to the race that was not originally on the teams 2009 Schedule. Sponsorship from The GPS Store.com and Garmin has allowed the team to compete in the San Bernardino County 200.
MOORESVILLE, NC – With a tough race at Daytona behind him, second year NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Brian Scott is anxious to head west for better fortunes. His No. 16 Albertsons Toyota Tundra did not fare badly at Daytona as the Xpress Motorsports team posted a solid 12th place finish. But the team has high hopes for the 2009 NCWTS season after closing the 2008 campaign with an average finish of 8.5 in the circuit’s final eight events. Scott recorded five top-10s capped by a fourth place finish at Phoenix International Raceway and a second-place run in the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. That 2008 late-season optimism has not diminished heading into Saturday’s San Bernadino County 200 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA.
