Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch win the Daytona 150s, and it was a bruising Thursday at Daytona International Speedway. Mike Mulhern reports KASEY KAHNE * No. 9 DODGE CHARGER Kahne started 19th in first Duel and finished sixth. Daytona Beach, Fla. – Robby Gordon and his No. 7 Jim Beam Toyota started 20th in today’s first 150-mile qualifying race, which determined the starting line-up for the Daytona 500. Gordon finished the 60-lap event in 22nd, which means that he will start Sunday’s Daytona 500 from the 31st position. Daytona Beach, Fl – TRG Motorsports missed making the Daytona 500 by one place today. The team ran in the second Gatorade Duel 150 with Mike Wallace and the No. 71 TRG Motorsports Chevrolet Impala SS finishing in 13th, just one place shy of making the field at Daytona International Speedway today. |
