Michael McDowell Announces 2009 Nationwide Series Plans
MOORESVILLE, N.C. – NASCAR driver Michael McDowell announced today that he has signed with JTG Daugherty Racing to race the #47 Toyota Camry entry in the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series. The #47 team, owned by Tad and Jodi Geschickter and Brad Daugherty, a former NBA all-star and current ESPN commentator, is scheduled to compete at the season opener at Daytona on February 14 and the next 15 races. Investment Group with Earnhardt ties to purchase Memphis Motorsports Park
Dover, DE – Dover Motorsports, Inc. announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell Memphis Motorsports Park to Gulf Coast Entertainment, L.L.C. Under the terms of the agreement, Dover Motorsports will sell all of the stock of its subsidiary Memphis International Motorsports Corporation, the owner of Memphis Motorsports Park, to Gulf Coast Entertainment for $10 million in cash.
